The Puppy Headstart Training Program is offered new this year after we have had many requests
for both our training services, and for slightly older, pre-trained puppies. This program is
currently offered only to purchasers of Eromit Lab puppies, on a very limited basis so that each
puppy enrolled gets the full benefit. At most, we will be accepting one puppy from each litter for
Headstart training.

What does the Headstart Training Program include?

     Headstart puppies will live in our home and will be raised as we would raise our own keeper
puppies. This means that they will be house-trained, crate trained, started on early obedience,
retriever and agility training, and will be super-socialized. *The Headstart program is not
intended to replace formal training at an appropriate age, but rather to prepare the puppy for life
long learning and for the basics of being a well behaved pet.* Puppies in our Headstart Program
will also receive one free vaccination at 12 weeks of age, and will be kept up to date on
deworming, free of charge. The owner is responsible for any other medical expenses.

Who should consider the Headstart Program?

     If your ability to fully supervise and house-train a wee little puppy is in question because of
work, physical ability, or inexperience, the Headstart Program might be for you. Puppies raised in
the Headstart program will be well on their way to being great housepets and/or competitors -
they will receive all the benefits of professional training while also being socialized, handled, and
treated as members of the family. If you are ready for a puppy in your life, but aren't interested or
able to take care of a tiny puppy, this is an option that might help may puppy-ownership a reality.

How much does it cost and how long does it last? Can I visit my puppy?

     The Puppy Headstart Program runs from 8 weeks of age until the puppy is 4 months old. The
cost for this entire program is $600 CDN (plus taxes). You may certainly visit your puppy and if
you live nearby, we recommend doing so frequently. Please call or email in advance to make an
appointment.

How do I enroll my puppy?

     To get your puppy enrolled in the Headstart Program, you will need to have reserved a puppy
from one of our upcoming litters. Please contact us for availability as soon as possible. ONLY
EROMIT PUPPIES are eligible - we do NOT accept puppies from other kennels for Headstart
training (for the health of our dogs). Headstart Program fees and full payment for the puppy are
due by the puppy's 8th week of age.

socialization!
