| Interesting Facts about the dogs in this pedigree: "Ace" (Calumet's Red Baron of Mjolnir) has earned his Junior Hunter title and several derby points in Canadian and US field trials. He is a small sized yellow male of 58 pounds who is a good marker, easy to train, and is the fastest Lab I have ever seen. He is currently training for agility. Ace's sire "Soupy" (Calumet's Super Sonic) holds his Field Champion and Amateur Field Champion titles. Soup was qualified all age by 18 months and FC/AFC by 3 years of age. Soupy has sired a vast array of talented dogs in field trials and hunt tests including a national champion and 2 high point derby dogs, as well as a Grand Master pointing lab and the number 1 agility Lab in 2006. Ace's dam "Arwen" (Mjolnir's Arwen Evenstar) is an equally talented, smaller sized yellow female. She holds Field Champion titles on both sides of the border and is a US double header winner. She is the dam of several field trial titled dogs including the 2007 Canadian derby champ. Soupy's sire "Boomer" (Calumet's Sonic Boom) was also an early achiever as a derby list dog and with 3 open placements as a 2 year old. Soupy's dam "Nikki"(Scan's In The Nick Of Time) was also a talented field trial dog and is considered a very strong producer with a long list of titled offspring. Arwen's sire "Zack" (Renegade's Zack Attack) was a yellow Canadian Field Champion. He sired at 2 FTCH titled daughters when bred to Arwen's dam Mjolnir's Sure Flight, who herself was an owner-trained Hunting Retriever Champion. "Verona" (Eromit Bust A Move) is a 47 pound black pixie- and the smartest dog I have ever had the opportunity to train. She is currently training for agility and sled dog racing and is halfway to her first title in limited trialling. She is very athletic, fast, and an excellent team player. She is a great hunting dog. Verona has full siblings excelling in flyball, hunting, hunt tests and field trial training. Her sire "Ruger" (Eromit's Cops Got My Gun) is a terrific marking dog, a very high drive retriever, but quiet in the blind and a pleasure to live with. He is a smaller sized male at 58 pounds. Ruger has earned 2 Junior Hunter passes and is one qualifying run away from several agility titles. He is a very intelligent, easy to train dog. Verona's dam "Lee" (Brown's Chocolate Pride) is a chocolate lab with lovely structure, trademark labrador good looks, and a natural soft mouth and delivery to hand. Lee is a grand-daughter of Nestle (Spider's Sunshine), our multi-agility titled founding female and "Renegade" (Lacombe's Renegades Shadow), one of the most talented black labs I've ever met. Renegade holds the record for the 2nd most wins in sled dog racing history by a purebred Lab, suprassed only by his daughter and team-mate Flash. He was a brilliant hunting dog as well, known for his ability to retrieve any type of varmint and climb trees. Ruger's sire "Levi" (Cosmic Blue Genes) was a national amateur finalist and was owner trained and handled to his Amateur Field Champion title and was on the derby list, the 2005 national high point list, and in limited breedings, produced several QAA dogs with all age placements, MH titled dogs, and a diabetic alert dog. Ruger's dam "Angel" (Ecstasy's Hells Angel) is a valued hunting companion with her Senior Hunter title, a master pass, and club high point qualifying ranking with limited formal training. |
