Beretta was a stand-out puppy from the beginning. She has a beautiful medium-dark yellow coat, and was a real
trouble maker as a youngster - always escaping from the whelping box and causing a ruckus. Now that she has
grown up a bit, her intelligence is put to good use, whether in training for agility or hunt tests, or by instigating play
with her network of doggy friends.
Beretta is a high-energy dog with a knack for marking. She loves the water and would happily swim and fetch all
day! She will even break through ice to go for a swim although we typically try to discourage this. Despite her
boisterous nature, Beretta is quite good with children and small animals and one of her favorite jobs is playing tug of
war ever-so-gently with baby puppies. Just like Twig in so many ways, Beretta is a fun dog to train and at the tender
age of 8.5 months has already been successful as a hunter! Look for Beretta to begin her hunt test and agility
competition career this fall.
Breeding Outlook: Beretta will become apart of our breeding program after hip and elbow certifications are complete
in 2011. Keep an eye on our puppy page for details.
