Nestle made a successful return to agility competition after a 3 year hiatus in September of 2008 and early in 2009,
at the ripe old age of 11.5 years, she earned two new titles (Advanced Agility Dog of Canada and Master Snooker
Dog of Canada). She is very enthusiastic retriever and is a particularly fine upland dog. In addition to dabbling in
skijorring, herding, and flyball, Nestle is an actress! She is perhaps most famous for her role in the 2000 Mind's Eye
Production movie entitled "Without Malice." This film was shot in Waskesiu, Saskatchewan, and Nestle (along with two
of her kennelmates) played the role of search and rescue dogs. Nestle was the 'hero dog', as the director like to call
her, because she was the dog who dug up the missing ranger's body.
As a dam, Nestle has been very successful - though she is now spayed and retired. Her pups have been involved in
hunt testing, service work, and as agility dogs. They have been loved hunting partners and professional working
dogs. Perhaps most importantly her pups have been healthy, well-adjusted and attractive members of the Labrador
breed, and have made fine pets for competitors and non-competitors alike.

In addition to being a great pet, competitor, movie star and brood bitch, Nestle has
also helped out with the care of some rescued orphans. She is pictured at left with
a litter of orphan kittens, and at right she is 'nursing' a young akita mix puppy.
